Brian Fitzpatrick doesn’t like the Republican Party, or either party for that matter. The congressman from Bucks County, Pennsylvania, has voiced “disdain for ideologues and partisans.” In a perfect world, everyone, including him, would be independent. He considers Democratic Gov. Josh Shapiro a friend, thinks Shapiro has served the state well, and hopes he runs for president in 2028.
